After there were new bands, and these bands perfecting the metal. In 1978 the metal was dying because the punk was fashionable. But in 1980 was the new wave of british metal , this wave was save the metal. In america also had a new moviment of metal, this moviment was a Thrash Metal. Is the metal fastest and so his names is thrash. The Thrash was created for Metallica, and followed for Antrax, Slayer and Megadeth. In 1983 was a glam metal, the glam metal bands wearing clothes of woman. And now a days there are many metal genres like: Brutal death metal, death metal, black metal, the new wave of american metal, heavy metal, folk metal, new metal, industrial metal..etc...
