Dreams are necessary to life, but the life is not a dream.

I think that my progress is more visible in the oral presentations. Firstly, the presentation of my firts oral presentation is not good because there are too much text in the power point. Instead the last presentation use only the necessary text.

Secondly, the content is interesant in both presentations, but in the second case I liked more the topic because it was my research project.

Finally, I think that my language has progress, especially in the pronunciation. Besides, we note that the text is more elaborate in the last one.

My favourite oral presentation is the first: http://thenewform.blogspot.com/2009/11/oral-presentation.html. I did this presentation with ariadna and I liked so much because the topic was really interesting and I could leant a lot with Ariadna. Also I think that all is so good, for example the power point or my pronuntiation.

And my best writting I think that is the human rights, I don't know, in my point of view, this compostion reflects my maturity.

But in general I'm so happy for all my post because are originals, and I put every effort that I could.

M-Hello everybody! You are listening to Monica’s program and today we talk with the last farmer from Catalonia.


M-Hi Joan! You’re in the program to talk about your job, a profession that is dying out. What do you think about that?

J-Hi Mònica, I think that to be a farmer is so easy but the reputation of this profession was fallen since 1960 when the Industrial Revolution began in Catalonia.

M-Oh, that’s a shame! Have you lived this change?

J- Yes, I was 13 years old and my father was a farmer.

M-Interesting… You can explain what was your way of life like before this change?

J-Yes, of course, life in these times was simpler. I remember that every day my father woke up when the birds sang, then he ate and all the day he worked with livestock. My father didn’t use machines because he thought that he didn’t need them.

M-Oh my god!! Without machines! And do you use the machines?

J-Of course, I love the machines because they make the work easier.

M-You weren't you bored all day in the field without cinema or shops?

J-No because I had to work all the time, and when the day is ended I was really tired!!

M-Well Joan, the time is over. I like so much talking with you about your profession.

You know that I love travel and I think that I have to visit 5 places before I die.









Scotlan, a historic land, for their green fields with their mediaval castles and their scenery. I like so much sleep in a castle located near a cliff. I would also like to see natives playing the bagpipes to kilts.

Australia is another place that I want visit. It is a wonderful and very exotic country. I would like to see koalas and kangaroos and the big desert, where you must feel so small. One thing that I love to do in Autralia is diving in the largest barrier reef.

For example Begonia White Sugar is a edible flower that it offers a refreshing acid and are both sweet and nice, provides us with vitamins and proteins, either in salad or in combination with whipped cream, cream cheese, dipped in chocolate, crystallized ...




Truffle cake with honey and crystallized flowers

Ingredients:

For the dough:

-125 gr. flour

-Cold water

-75 oz. cold butter cut

-1 teaspoon powdered sugar

-Pinch of salt

For the filling:

-4 spoons of honey from flowers

-125 ml thick cream

-225 grs. cottage cheese

-1 whole egg

-120 grs. cream cheese

-2 egg yolks

-25grs. star violet or rose petal badior.

-25grs. crystallized violet or crystallized rose petals

-2 spoons superfine sugar


PREPARATION:

The first thing to do is grease a fluted pie pan with butter detachable base.

In a food processor is to sift the flour with salt, add butter and mix until it resembles breadcrumbs.

Add sugar and water needed to be thicker.

Spread the dough on a floured surface and form a circle larger than the mold. Put the dough into the pan pressing down firmly.

Pass the roller over the edge to remove excess dough. Put a piece of tracing paper on top and let cool for half an hour in the refrigerator.

Remove the base of the cake from refrigerator and cook for 10 minutes in the oven, preheated to 190 º C.

Remove the baking paper and bake 5 minutes more.

On the other hand be mixed with cream cheese curd and clotted cream. Chop a few petals of fresh rose or violet. Add the egg yolks, whole eggs, honey and sugar and stir.

Put the filling over the base and half hours baking the cake.

Remove and let cool 10 minutes in pan. Sprinkle with a little honey and garnish with rose petals violet or crystallized or crystallized.

Hello everybody!

Today I want to explain my first day in London. Firstly you can see my photos in the video and next you can read my expercience about this day.

As you can see at the pictures, we flew to London with a ryanair plane. When we arribed at the airport, we had to wait a long time because the poor Sergi has an Andorran nationality and in England they are very strict.

After travelling two hours by bus, we arrived at Royal National London hotel. We were very tired and we went to sleep.

The next day we woke up and we had breakfast at the hotel buffet. I didn't like breakfast because it was only bread with jam and butter.

Afterwards we walked to the British Museum. I liked so much the British Museum and with Rocio, Ariadna, Lauren, and Laura we took a lot of photos.

When we leave to de museum we went to coven garden and I ate McDonald's hamburgers with Lauren, Ariadna, Sergio, Rocio, Laura and Xavi in the street!! We ate in the street because it was so late and all the restaurants was fill. For this reason when we finish the hamburgers we went into Starbucks and we sit down in a comfortable sofa.

Then when we wanted to go with teachers we saw Jack Sparrow!!! and we took a photo with he.

After we visited the National Gallery museum but I was very tired and I didn't enjoy very much.

Finally we walked to picadilly circus and oxford street and we came into Hamleys, my favourite shop of toys.

Ariadna, Rocio, Lauren, Jake and me we returned to the hotel by taxi because we were weary. When we arrived at the hotel Rocio and I took pictures with a sweater that had bought us.

Afterwards we ate and we came to the bed waiting for the next day was just as well!

An Irish travel agency bring forth a campaign that consist in a contest where the winners between more than 1,000 couples have already to be sent to resorts in Africa, Europe, Asia and the United States. The winners will be asked to bog about their experiences a few times a week and they will also be paid 20,000 euros (about $27,000)!!

I see my oral presentation and there are some thinks that I will have to improve in the next oral presentation. Firstly I have to take a linden because I was very nervous!! I also have to improve my pronuntiation and my aaaaa... The structure I think that is good but it missing show an example of analysis. Other thinks that I will have to improve are for example use more fillers and connectors, or do more natural gestures and movements.

This new, deals about the new campain of Benetton, this retailer has invested in findig news and differents faces into web 2.0 with a global online casting. Benetton wants to represents the real world, the "new faces of the 21st century".

Recently I knew about flashmobs and I thought that is an interesting topic to talk on this blog.

1The flashmob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and pointless act for a brief time, then quickly disperse.

The flashmobs are actions that a group of people agree to do in a public place like a train or a square. These people communicate normaly through facebook, email, mobile...

The flashmob origins was created in Manhattan in May 2003, by Bill Wasik, senior editor of Harper's Magazine, the first attempt was unsuccessful but nowadays the flashmobs are very frequent and have become in many places around the world.

In barcelona this year it made two flashmobs, one in gran via 2 and the other in the subway. The first it was a dance and the second it consisted of go with uderwear in a subway, these act was done in many cities in the same day!

The flashmob can be a dance, a homenage, a pillow fight or a similar activity.

and I think that is very shocking because all the people dance equal and there are many people!!
