My first experience with psychology
Probably, You know that I want to study psychology at University and consequently now I'm studying psychology at high school with Albert Piñero. I love this subject because is very different and interesant. In class we are five people (Sara, Cèlia, Laura C., Katy and me). Normally Mondays and Wednesdays we do theory, and Thursday and Friday we do different activities.
A few weeks ago we went to the geriatric of Castelló and we practice with grandparents that they had some diseases such as Alzheimer's. This experience has been unbelievable, I like very much dealing with persons.
The first day that we went to geriatric we talk with geriatric psychologist and she told us what kind of patients we would treat and the function that psychologist makes in a geriatric. We saw that she has much work.
The other days we treat with our patiens and We took note of the dysfunctions that we detect.
And finally the last day the psychologist explain us the real live that patiens have. This day, for me, the worst day, because was the final and because is very sad to realize that these people before they were like us, and now his live is the expectation of death.
In conclusion I think that I remember all of my life this experience and I hope that I will can live a lot of experiences like this.

yes, I love psychology classes with Albert too! it is a subject that helps us to learn a lot about this topic but about ourselves as well. I'm sure that it will be one of the most useful subject of this year. We have spent nice moments there :)

Hi Moni, (I know I owe you three euros but don't hit me)
for me the psychology classes are also some of the most interesting, and the experience in the geratric was really striking. It made me think a lot, and in the end I only felt sad for them, and I imagined myself sitting there, with nobody who "really" cares for you and loves you. It has to be very hard for them.

I think like you, that it has been a really nice and good experience. We have learned a lot and also we experimented new sensations.
Psicology was one of the degrees that I would like to study but as you know finally I decided do "Bussines", but I'm sure that next year you'll enjoy it a lot. I hope you will tell me interesting things about psicology:)
